Wow. Officials just screwed columbia over 3 times on one play. Incomplete pass ruled a fumble, guy that recovered it laterals after knee was on the ground, and the guy he lateraled to stepped out of bounds as he ran down the sideline. Missed all three of those and gave hendersonville a touchdown. But as I typed this, columbia comes back with a 68yd pass play for a touchdown.

Watching on local WCTE out of Cookeville. In the games I've got to watch there has been some piss poor officiating but that Hendersonville td was awful.

Even though I don't care who wins I plan on going out and catching a couple games in person tomorrow if the rain hold off. It's only a 15 minute drive to Tech from my house.

just looked up tre'darius goff and shaq mason from columbia on scout and goff hasnt commited yet (no offer from ut) and mason commited to ga tech (no offer from ut). after the way goff played tonight i think he could definately help us in the linebacker area. reminds of dont'a hightower from lewisburg

When I saw it live I thought it was going to be called back. I can see them missing the knee on the ground but he never had a handle on the ball and the guy was out of bounds by 6 inches. That bogus play were the only points that Hendersonville scored all night.

Columbia and Alcoa would be a good game. Alcoa would have a slight speed advantage, but Columbia is a much more physical team than Alcoa.

Yeh, they screwed our bois out of their 2nd shutout in 2 weeks. Oh well tho. Those kids have come a hell of a long way, together, this year. Only know a few of them personally, but they've been impressive to watch for 2 yrs. And to think that a player passed away yesterday, and they rallied for HIM, n dedicated their season/championship to HIM. Go Lions.

He certainly could. He's misleadingly good, imo. He doesn't BLOW you away on any 1 play like a DYoung does, but he makes 40 plays a game. He is in on ab 75% of the tackles (it seems), and if he's not making the tackle, someone else is bc he's blown his path up. Last night, in the 3rd, Hendersonville decided their best chance to move the ball was to send 2 guys to block TraD. I found it hilarious, as his teamates then made 3 or 4 nice plays in a row. (Usually the guy who wasn't blocked bc of the double on #30). The knock is his height, but the more he hears it, the harder he's played. Kid had arguably his best 6 game stretch, these last 6 weeks, and (cliche I know) really did put this team on his back. If you ask him about his/their success, he won't take an ounce of credit. He'll simply grin, and tell you how hard his teammates played and how well his lined blocked. Mature for his age. Gonna be a good college player, period.

3 weeks ago he went for 162 and 4 TD's on 8 carries. 5 weeks ago, he had 26 tackles in a game.
