I will be the first to say that I love CBP. I love what he has done for our program but this is ridiculous. I've never seen more uninspired basketball in my life. When I watch this team play I see a team that is just going through the motions without a care in the world for losing. That blame goes right on CBP. I cannot believe a team coached by him is playing like this. He needs to get it together and jerk a knot in their ass. They are an embarassment right now. And if Tyler and Wayne think they are leaving early for the draft...I don't think so. There is no way they go in the first round if at all maybe late second if their lucky. This team makes me sick. We need leadership and CBP needs to provide it.

This team does not deserve to play in the NCAA tourney. Tough schedule or not, we are not even competitive at times. Kind of remembers me of..............well, you know...........the football season in some ways.

Reminds me of ut basketball before Bruce got there. I always heard you can't make chicken salad out of ....

Here's what I'm starting to think...

Defensive strategy: Just stand there and watch them shoot 3's and/or drive to the basket. Look confused.

Offensive strategy: Take whatever is working at the time and throw it out the window. Pass the ball around the top of the key until there's 7 on the shot clock, settle for a crappy shot.

agreed....seems like Brian Williams was on fire, shoudl have kept giving him the ball.......pitiful

Their a complete joke to watch. They dont box out, go after loose balls, or even seem to care if we lose. I just turn the tv off when I see that kind of play.

I honestly feel bad for Tyler Smith right now. Dude would have been a late 1st round pick last year. If he comes out now he'll be lucky to get drafted at all.

A TEAM OF STONERS ALWAYS PLAYS LIKE A TEAM OF STONERS!!!!!!!

Until BP addresses off the court behavior, accountability for himself, assistant coaches, and the players....expect more of the same. BP needs to run off some players AND a coach if he wants to get things back on track.

I'd start with Williams, Tabb, Maze, and Jones.
Did anyone see how much Tabb was huffing and puffing in the first half? The only way conditioning at this point in the season is a problem is if you're doing something you shouldn't be doing. If BP is loyal to TJ to a fault like PF was to his assistants, then he'll be losing his job much much sooner than anyone imagined.

Today was a total embarrassment, inexcusable, and UNACCEPTABLE!

I want Bruce to be here a long time, but not if he can't stay away from Jed ball.

Why is Wayne getting so much playing time? And, he is not being pulled out of the game after shooting several horrid 3's and not playing defense? He is a selfish player! I hope he does leave after this year. I am tired of watchin Pearl leave him in the game. When he is jacking up ill advised 3's instead of being down low. What was the bs stunt he pulled a few games ago. Pearl was going to sub Williams. And, Wayne went off so Brian sit back down. I guess Wayne Chism is running the team now, very sad!!!!!!!

In a sense, you are correct. After getting torched in epic fashion by Meeks in Knoxville, the strategy was obviously to overplay him and make Porter and Miller, et al, beat you. They controlled Meeks, and Porter and Miller, with a large helping of Patterson, did just that.

Yeah Wayne is a selfish ass. This team is out of control. I don't understand the shot selection and playing time either.

I disagree. I think Chism is one of the only players that actually plays well on somewhat of a consistent basis. Yes he does make some ill advised decisions now and then, but no one on the team is playing well right now and I think and hope Chism will return next year.

PEARL HAS GOT TO COME UP WITH A BETTER HALF COURT O!!!! if he is such a good coach why are we not running SOMETHING that looks like an play of offense? i will tell you why, HE CANT COACH OFFENSE!!!

If Wayne could limit the number of plays where everybody goes "Wayne what are you doing?" He would be a good ball players, he usually has several of them a game.
