I realize this isn't the hire that everyone wanted, but bashing the guy before he has even been introduced as the head coach is ridiculous. Give him a chance before you try to start some kind of boycott or decide not to buy your season tickets. We are still the University of Tennessee and it would be nice if the fans would represent the university with more class than you're showing right now.

I can't really blame anybody lashing out at this. I'll support UT but he couldn't even beat Dooley. That's why you will see people not supporting him.

I like his intensity, demeanor and he seems to be a player's coach..

We have a coach that won 4 conference championships in 6 seasons.. I don't care what level you're playing at, the guy has proven he can win - unlike our last coach.

If you want to b*$% and moan about the hire, that's fine. But I'm going to choose to believe the guy can get it done..

WOW! I stand corrected. This guy can give the same rah rah speech as my high school football coach! Hope we have him sign a multi-year extension because you can't find that ANYwhere.

FYI - Guy took a 12 and 1 Brian Kelly team and immediately went 4 and 8.

Dave Hart should lose his job for this and for what he did to Pat Summitt.

Your point doesn't really matter though. Whether you support this hire or not, the bottom line is what is best for this program. I wanna win now. Supporting this coach and this team now gives us the best chance to win. All this beachin and moanin everyone is doing on here about this isn't helping anything. We need to stay positive just for recruits that may read this crap if nothing else.
