For the last hour I have did a deep dive into what the committee has done when a ranked team lost on the road and at home..

The inconsistency from the committee is jaw dropping as you can see below:

Dropped 9 spots

Miami lost on the road Georgia Tech:
Dropped 5 spots

Miami lost on the road to Syracuse:
Dropped 6 spots

Indiana lost on the road to Ohio State:
Dropped 5 spots

Alabama lost on the road to Oklahoma:
Dropped 6 spots

LSU lost on the road to Florida:
Dropped 7 spots

Tennessee lost on the road to Georgia:
Dropped 4 spots

Texas A&M lost on the road to Auburn:
Dropped 5 spots

Iowa State lost on the road to Kansas:
Dropped 9 spots to unranked

Louisville lost on the road to Stanford:
Dropped 6 spots to unranked

Army lost on a neutral site to Notre Dame: Dropped 6 spots to unranked

Pittsburgh lost on the road to SMU: Dropped 7 spots to unranked

Ole Miss lost on the road to Florida: Dropped 5 spots

AT HOME:
BYU lost at HOME to Kansas:
Dropped 8 spots

Kansas State lost at HOME to Arizona State: Dropped 10 spots to unranked

Texas A&M lost at HOME to Texas:
Dropped 5 spots to unranked

Washington State lost at HOME Wyoming: Dropped 7 spots to unranked

Well, it’s pretty evident that they don’t care for the SEC, got too many big 10 people on that damn committee. I guess they’re tired of the SEC winning everything.

No consistency. Bama brings fans. Miami does not.

OSU gets favored treatment. Each thing was anticipated.
If we had been winning with a natty and top 5 finishes for 15 years, it would be expected as well for us to get favored treatment.

Wasn’t Michigan a 20 point underdog? And Ohio State lost at home. Our two L’s were on the road.

You got too many Big 10 azzholes running that deal to think their wouldn't be a bias toward their cash cow teams.. All about Brand.

There’s only so many scenarios that can play out Saturday. They should’ve had to speak on each possible one.

How far you drop would depend on what the other teams below you did. The bigger issue to me is the inconsistent messaging of how they ranked teams. What is their criteria? SOR, eye test, best wins, worst losses? It feels like they just vote on an order and craft a message with whatever data best fits the order. It changes every week.
