LT should bite his lip, not hand that fed him - SignOnSanDiego.com

The things that happened in San Diego, everything was taken away from me,” he said upon arrival in New York with his new team, the Jets, earlier this month. “There wasn’t an emphasis on running the football anymore. My best fullback (Lorenzo Neal) was gone, the linemen were pass blocking and it was a passing quarterback (Philip Rivers) and a passing coach. So, the situation’s kind of misleading when you look (at him) on film.

this guy is a joke now

I dont see the complaint. All the things he said were true. Losing Lorenzo Neal was huge. He was a pro-bowl FB who could put a block on almost anyone.

this guy is such a joke. what other running backs do you see complain that the quarterback passes too much? that the blockers are only concerned with pass blocking? LT is a ridiculous joke at the highest level now. a guy over the hill that still thinks he is the best athlete to ever grace the nfl. all the guy does is sit on the bench and whine about not getting more carries.

"everything was taken away from me". the only thing that got taken from LT is his talent and it's never coming back. it angers me that he holds records that a whiny, complacent little douchebag thinks he is entitled too.

I like how he designated Rivers as a "passing" quarterback.

Well they had a sacking quarterback before him.But one day they just decided to make some changes and get some Passing quarterbacks and Catching receivers.

perhaps the irony:

after the trade yesterday, he now signed on a team that's pretty much going to end up being a passing team also

The Jets have probably the best O-line in the NFL. They will be balanced with slighty more emphasis on the run.
