WASHINGTON – The White House environmental adviser under fire for inflammatory statements made before he joined the administration resigned after what he called a "vicious smear campaign against me."

Van Jones "understood that he was going to get in the way" of President Barack Obama's agenda, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Sunday.

The resignation was disclosed without advance notice by the White House in a dead-of-the-night e-mail on a holiday weekend. It came as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.

Jones, who specialized in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality, was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the Sept. 11 attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans.

Gibbs said Obama did not endorse Van Jones' comments but thanked him for his service.

"What Van Jones decided was that the agenda of this president was bigger than any one individual," Gibbs said on ABC's "This Week.

Profiling the current Democrat party.

There is no more mystery about Van Jones. He was a passionate defender of cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal, a self-satisfied and described "Communist," a supporter of the destruction of the Jewish state, and a promoter of the theory that the Katrina tragedy was a white racist plot, and so forth. That's okay with Democratic chairman Howard Dean, and Obama's Environmental Quality Council head Nancy Sutley. .........

This should surprise no one. The recent heads of the black caucus in the House -- part of the 120 member "progressive caucus" -- have all been Castro-loving racists -- Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee to name two ........ Diane Watson is probably next.

The Democratic Party today is a "popular front" organization (to pluck an appropriate term from the 1930s when liberals and Stalinists lined up together as well).

There are no scoundrels, America haters, racists -- that Democrats won't assimilate. One of the more obnoxious racists and crooks in public life -- Charlie Rangel -- is still chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee because Nancy Pelosi won't remove him, so strong is his support in her party.

And if you don't believe how far left the Democrats have lurched ........., here's authentication from Alan Colmes who, after ignoring all the evidence about who Van Jones actually is and what he believes, and pretending that it's all a Glenn Beck-World Net Daily-Horowitz plot, concludes "Van Jones is a mainstream liberal." That's exactly right Alan. And that's exactly the problem.......

The timidity and cowardice of Republicans towards Democratic Party outrages of this nature is a principal culprit.

Now that Americans are awake and confronting their tyrannical employees in the federal government, who are clearly hell-bent upon forcing a Marxist agenda, it's time to name names so that the people easily identify who is directly responsible for the biggest assault on American freedom and liberty in US history.

Together, Communist Party and Socialist Party leaders established the Democratic Socialists of America, and they share a common ideology which is now the platform and mantra of today’s DNC.

Insert the word “Democrats” where “Communists” appears in this statement, and you have the central message of today’s Democrat leadership.

To gain full control of the Democrat Party, DSA leadership established two congressional legislative bodies, headed by DSA/CPUSA/SPUSA members. Today, these are the two congressional bodies in control of congress.

They are the Congressional Progressive Caucus established by Socialist Party member Bernie Sanders of Vermont, and the Congressional Black Caucus established by Communist Party member John Conyers of Michigan.

ALL members of these two congressional committees represent the Democratic Socialists of America, as both committees are the creation of, and operate under the control of DSAUSA.

Ten minutes of history research will quickly confirm that communism, socialism, Marxism, totalitarianism, are all systems by which the governing few are empowered, not the masses. Even though many Americans have been tricked into thinking that their lives are better off in the hands of Washington DC elitists, the vast majority of Americans inherently know better!

The leftists in control of Washington DC can not make it any clearer... They have an agenda and they don't care how many American citizens, Republicans, Democrats or Independents, are opposed to that agenda - nor do they care what they have to do to advance that agenda.
