It's not like people were in the streets calling for Jay Leno to be reinstated. I'll admit that Conan's ratings were probably a fireable offense. But that being said, he should have at least been able to finish out his contract before NBC pulled the trigger to bring back a guy who hasn't exactly lit the world on fire since being reinstated.

I like Conan and think he's a much funnier person than Leno but that's just my opinion. NBC did Conan wrong, and it didn't help Leno by acting like he didn't do anything wrong even though he lobbied to get his old job back after the utter failure of his new show. And that came after he approved and congratulated Conan on taking over the Tonight Show.
