No, sounds like a fishing email that looks legit.

You probably just got the Windows 10 Creators Update and yeah they ask you to confirm your Windows ID when you get it.

Look at the email address it was sent from. If it's not Microsoft.com I would ignore it.

Beware of sub domains like Microsoft.account-activation.net or anything similar.

I thought it is a rip off of some kind,thought I'd post it,just encase somebody else gets the same E Mail
