There is selfishness, stupid play, no discipline, and a coach who has lost them.

I remember last year telling a good friend of mine, who is a lifelong Wildcat fan, that this year would be the year for UK. It really looked like that great recruiting class would be even better as sophomores. It's amazing how the things you mention above can just kill a team that looks great on paper.

You got it! I am very impressed with this win for Tennessee. The thing that really struck me was how UT maintained its composure every time Kentucky seemed ready to make a big surge and take over. I am not ready to anoint you with the SEC crown, or even the SECE until we see what happens on 2/22. But I will say that to me UT is clearly for real and I think Pearl deserves heavy consideration for coach of the year.

If there's anything other than a complete flop the rest of the season, :biggrin2: Pearl has to be coach of the year. Looking at what we had coming into this year, the expectations, and where we are now, I just don't think there is any other coach in the league that compares. Maybe I just need to take my orange goggles off.

That's exactly what I was thinking jake. When I read that post from McKat the first thing I thought of was this years football team.
