I am glad to see the New Breed getting so many minutes. Looks like Holly is taking a page from The Old Pat Book where you earned playing time in practice and the gym. I think we will be a pretty good team by the big dance, and really be set up well for next year, and the one following. Graves, Carter, and Jones can all really play some ball. Cierra is living up to her potential this year to, and seems to be quite the leader. Ariel and Carter in the game together is awesome. Simmons better stop the stupid shots or she will see less playing time. She was in foul trouble today, and she played well in the second half today on defense which was impressive. Not sure what happened to Spani, she was awesome the start of last season until the Virginia game where she hurt her chin. I wonder if it is just about getting in sinc with the new girls, or is being a Senior too much pressure on her right now? Izzy made two stupid plays in the first half, a turnover, where she just stood there for a second with a damn look on her face, and then ran down court and made a stupid over excited trying to make up for it foul. She looked good otherwise. Williams, isn't seeing much playing time, I thing she is always such a spark when she plays, I am wondering if it is just a rotation thing early and the bench will shorten. I thought she looked good last year when she came back so quicky from her knee surgery at the end of the season. Maybe they are working her in slowly. Nice win Holly, way to bounce back Ladies!

We may be a zone team this season but that is ok because looked like the players were doing a better job extending to the three point line and Graves gets her hands on almost every post pass. She had four steals yesterday and several more deflections.
