As hard as it is to compliment a team from Warner Robbins, I will comply. Good job guys.

What a sweet win for these young men and while they were celebrating, they stopped and went to give a shoulder to those Japanese kids' that were crying and so upset... that is pure class... Way to Go, Georgia is very proud of your win....... :clapping:

Go VOLS....... Go Big Orange

Great effort by the kids from Warner Robins. The shot of that Japanese pitcher breaking down was really rough.

The walk off homer was nice but the real hero was the kid that hit a double off the wall in the second inning when they were trailing 2-0 tp Japan . There were two outs at the time.I really enjoyed watching these kids play. The day prior they beat Texas.

I too thought these kids were a total class act. As soon as they saw how upset the Japanese kids were they went over to console them and tell them what a great job they had done. Total sportsmanship and I am sure some proud parents and coaches.

To top ot off, I think they were on the bus that caught on fire this morning and had to be evacuated. No one was hurt!

Nice to know my home town is known for something other than a strip club on the interstate and Northside High's football team. Great Job WR Little League. Nothing better than seeing young kids do something great they'll remember the rest of their lives.

HA!

Who beat Georiga.....OH.....IO........OH......IO!

Only because the game was rained out and WR had to start another pitcher because of the crazy rules.

Good thing too, brought the cycle back around for them to play in the championship....but Ohio wouldn't know anything about that now would they:)

The team made it home today, when they came through Hartsfield-Jackson they were greeted by cameras and people clapping and yelling at them- the tv guy said none of the kids' smiled, that they had that Chipper Jones look... we got so tickled at that... seems they went by busses back to WR and are having a big party tonight... what a great bunch of kids'... couldn't believe the bus the Japanese were on caught fire, talk about bad luck...

GO VOLS.... GO BIG ORANGE ...
