It's a shame that he went through 30 years of rejection and now as soon as he dies he's voted in. Seems to me as if the committee felt guilty for not putting Santo in after all these years. Bittersweet moment for his family and friends, and disgrace that he wasn't alive to see himself being inducted.

This is the type of crap that disgusts me about ther baseball HOF. If he was worthy of induction then he should have received it will still alive.

A belated congrats to Mr. Santo. A classy ball player(so I've heard) and a better human being.
