We will be TENNESSEE again (we always have been) but it's gonna take time! You fans that are *****in and moanin about this team and previous teams only have yourselves to thank goin back to 07-08 when you all was screamin for a coachin change!!!!! Well how'd that work out for ya???? I have full confidence in CBJ and his staff we will get the players (as our recruiting shows) and we will be fine!! I'm just thankful our commits aren't as inpatient as you so called fans they actually understand it takes time!!!

Agree with this although I think Tennessee can get back to the UT of old. But damn they are slow, looks like they went to a nursing home and suited up some of the residents.

I'm not seeing a team that quit. I'm seeing a team that looks like they've never er practiced together a day in their lives. People randomly running around the field not sure who is covering who, kinda like watching a 5 year olds soccer game where they all run to the ball. But you see more tackling at the 5 year olds soccer game.

Giving up on a first year coach because of a road loss to the #9 team in the nation with a true freshman quarterback getting his first start. I thought we could win this game as well and am a little disappointed in our play but start writing Butch off now either shows your stupidity or your true commitment as a fan. You obviously don't get it.

According to experts , guys who make their living by knowing, we were 11 points short of Mo if both teams play as they should. But we lost by 28 pts ( and it could have been 70 ) therefor, we underperformed by quite a bit and that is coaching. We weren't even close to being ready to play. I don't know about you, but I am tired of the excuses and tired of being embarrassed on national TV. if we don't win 6 games , someone should be in hot water. Enough excuses already- look at far Auburn has come in 1 year.

that is factually wrong and very stupid. We lost to Mizzu last year with arguably the best offense in the conference. Dooley did not recruit 4 star players and he recruited the slowest bunch I have ever seen. AJ has the heart of a lion but is just about as slow as it gets. When you play every week a top 10 team then you wear down from a depth perspective. We came out like the Alabama game, flat footed against speed. Let Butch get his players in and watch. Until then remember we started a QB with no game experience.

Sure I'd like to make 3 million and still lose to Vandy or Kentucky. No excuses to lose to either of those. So yeah he better get six wins.

So 9 games into a season with a new head coach in his 1st year, playing a Frosh. QB in a road game in his first start, against the 5th ranked team they've played this season (with one more to go) and you're giving up?

A little early for that don't you think?

I'll ask the question once again, what exactly will you do if six wins aren't reached? Will you send Dave Hart an email? Will you egg CBJ's house? Will you refuse to watch another UT game? What exactly are the consequences?
