Congrats they quit.

Dooley didn't recruit Dobbs, butch did. I really thought and hoped that Dobbs was going to be the answer, but it was just wishful thinking. Hopefully he'll get better than he was tonight.

Come on man... It was his first collegiate start... He ha the longest run from a tn quarterback since tee martin in 99... He hit some great passes to the check down guy and some long routes that J. Smith couldn't handle but what's new.... I swear everyone needs to chill out... There WILL be bumps in the road... It's not gonna happen in one game

And where in my quote did I say Dooley recruited Dobbs... Read before u assume... Because u know what happens when I assume

They got whipped. Mentally physically and emotionally. That close up of tiny sweating his ass off late in the game is all you need to summarize where this team was - lost.

Line got whipped from play one. Our offense consisted of North, Pig, Croom and Lane. No one else stepped up. Dobbs did ok considering the lack of help the line gave him. Defense woke up too damn late to matter but hell what did the offense give them to feed off of - nothing.
They need to sack up and snap and clear because that was pathetic. Linemen should all be slapped by Al Wilson.

Where was mixzou last year? That's right they turned it around in a damn year!

Mizzou didn't turn it around in a year. They simply stayed healthy this year other than Franklin. But his backup, Mauk, is a pretty damn good QB and he had a couple of games as starter under his belt coming into tonight.

Pinkel won 9 games total his first 2 seasons at Mizzou playing a schedule not nearly as brutal as what UT has gone through. It doesn't happen overnight.

Last season was some what of an aberration for Mizzou, mainly due to injuries and having to adjust to the SEC. But Mizzou is better than UT right now at almost every position. They have been playing in the same schemes for several years now so they aren't in a learning mode. Mizzou has more team speed than UT on both sides of the ball.

Give Jones some time.

Oh and we are soft in the middle and edges, what's left? They got 6 yards plus on 1st down more times than I care to remember.

We got whipped by lower ranked dudes by speed and hustle. They beat us on almost every snap. That perfomance was pathetic.

Winning programs are not built in one season. UT has a great recruiting class and only needs a great qb for the future. I saw potential in Dobbs. I think he can compete given time to do so. You negative vols need to chill.

Don't think we quit, just don't take our blue collar on the road.
Hope we can muster enough 'want to' for UK.
Bad mix of senoirs on this team. got used to being man handled in the trenches , both sides of the ball.

U all hole him to such high freaking standards.... 6 wins or you're out hahahahha.... I bet every university I America would love to have you as an athletic director or head coach even....
I dont want butch fired. He just can't give up and he has to learn from his mistakes also.

The way you get O-linemen to quit false starts is to take playing time away. We're on our second head coach and third O-line coach now with this group of 1st string O-linemen and none of them are willing to start taking playing time away from any of them.

And shut up because in the spring game of 2012 the 2nd string O-line outplayed the 1st string O-line, so, YES, there are others that could go in. So STFU.

I actually turned the channel before the game was over could not watch that performance by a team. It was hot Garbage hate to say it but with the way they are playing I do not know if I will watch next weeks game. I get so frustrated I'm afraid I will have a stroke.

OP how is the hangover this morning. Have another drink and think about it. Better yet tweet you opinion to every player or better yet go to a practice this week and address the team as a whole or individually. Don't take cheap shots on a board when you don't get it.

Your opinion matters but you need to address it to the team and not on the board. So go to practice and state your opinion, I am sure that the will not quit when the beat the hell out of you just to prove you wrong.

We need smart players. Dobbs is a start, but we need a team with a much higher football IQ.
