I'd say having his car up front at Dega really helped. Plus Golden Corral is a prefect fit for NASCAR.

He said he'll run the rest of the season and two cars at Daytona and maybe Dega in the fall too. Smart move for those two races.

I'm glad TBR got sponsorship for Blaney. As much as we want to crack on start and park teams this is a good story of a team sticking with it and getting rewarded.

I agree a team owner with no funding has to do what is needed to survive, but it was running up front late in a race that earned the sponsorship.
