Congrats go out to Martin Truex, Jr. for his first career win. I think it's great that with all the talk of the big, bad free agent that is Dale Earnhardt, Jr., it's Truex who owns the only win this season for DEI. :birgits_giggle:

They definitely nailed the setup on the #1 car today. I don't believe they made a change all day.

As for Jr., he was running in the top three before he had tire issues. Once the announcement was made that Jr. was leaving TEI, I expected the results to falter for the #8.

It'll be interesting to see if the #1 team can be a consistent winner now that they're the number one team at TEI or if this was just a fluke deal where they nailed the setup for once.

They ran well and won the Nextel Open at all-star weekend, but didn't do much in the big show. They said they were gonna have a good car before getting caught in that wreck in the 600. Soo, maybe they can be more consistent, but it definitely looked like they have the COT setup nailed at Dover.

Truex has done fairly well in the COT races; but as far as him being consistent, Ill have to see it to believe it

Truex has been running well in these last 5 or 6 races. I expect Clint Bowyer to pick up his 1st win in the near future.

Clint has been very close a few times this season and it's just a matter of time.
