I was so impressed with the way the team bounced back from all the negativity and doubt. From Fulmer down to the last player, this team was focused. Even Fulmer and the Chief looked a little thinner!

Congratulations to them all -- I'm still in shock.

Absolutely. Fantastic job in the offseason. Chavis built a stout defense, particularly against the run as he ALWAYS does. Cutcliffe turned our sorry offense from last year into a finely tuned machine yesterday. Special teams even looked slightly better than average.

Based off of yesterdays performance, our coaching staff earned the big paychecks during the offseason. I hope it continues, we certainly don't need to pat ourselves on the back too much. That would only lead back to what we saw over the past several years, particularly last year. We need to stay focused and hungry and disrespected.

agreed, coaches had them ready, and i cant remember seeing CPF so animated as yesterday when the ref almost blew the first down call in front of him. ol miss got to be the stupidest admin in world to ditch coach cut...he was great there and i hope he makes knoxville home for rest of career. vols watch out for airforce, they will come tougher than cal. i was at wedding for second half, great vol family, my son in law calls twice with updates (miami fan) my daughter calls once, and daughter in law to be when asked what was going on at the wedding, replied tennessee 14 cal 0. i love them all.

Awesome job by the coaches getting them prepared for Cal. Let's hope they keep it up.

Lex mentioned it earlier, but how cool was it to see Fulmer get all fired up over that ball spot? Good stuff.

Agreed!!! That was a major complaint about him in the past... he always seemed so unemotional on the sideline. I hope he keeps that intensity, it rubs off on the players.
