If he's reprimanded the reporter should be as well.

It's open season on anyone that makes money.

It's rarely a good idea for politicians to attack someone infinitely more popular than they are.

If they're trying to do that by attacking the man who has UCONN poised for another run at the Final Four, I've got serious issues with the quality of advice they are receiving.

I get so sick of the media, academians, and general public focusing on someone's compensation. It doesn't matter if it is a coach, CEO, salesperson, or Republican the persistent, moronic class envy is sickening. I'll break it down real simple, that is the deal they made with their employer. If it weren't a justifiable salary, the employer would not pay it. If the person doesn't produce, the salary will be reduced or he/she will be fired." Until then, STFU and go make yourself marketable to earn a high salary for yourself.

Calhoun has been in the game long enough to know better than to get sucked into that line of questions.

Politicians lack the ability to draw the line on what they should be involved in and what the hell they should just leave alone.

Yeah Calhoun shouldn't have reacted that way but that idiot shouldn't have been in the news conference. He was an "amateur" journalist, mostly self-proclaimed one, so I mean if you want to ask a coach a question like that, at least wait until afterwards. Calhoun shouldn't be reprimanded at all. He could have flown off the handle much more than he did.

i bet you anything the outlet that reporter is working for is probably going bankrupt. i'm sure he isn't giving back his salary either.
