Is there a connection between Tatum/Goins rejoining the team and the team pretty much sucking in every way? I mean, it seems to me that since they rejoined we began losing the games...hmmm...Just a thought. Take it or leave it.

Either way, unlike others on this board, I am ALL VOL!! After the games we win and after the games we lose...

GO VOLS!!

Well lets see....they were reinstated for the Bama game, IIRC, but didnt play...we wont that game....

They played against GA and VANDY and we lost both games...might be a connection

Although I don't think thats the reason we've been losing...I just think all of this is starting to catch up with us. It will be interesting to see how CBP and the team as a whole rebound from these last two games.

I'm sure someone will blame them for the loss at some point before the night is over though.

Here's a connection. Phil Fulmer was at the game tonight. Maybe that's why we lost

Well it did look like Coach Chavis was coaching our defense in the last 10 minutes. Did you see how far we backed off their shooters. :eek:lol:

Ut is losing ball games because they are coming down the floor and shooting low percentage shots and not being in position to rebound missed shots;not blocking out. Shooting 3 point shots from shooters that have low percent of making 3 point shots. Foul shooting that is worse than high school players. Tonight they caught way too many fouls by starters and there were not enough quality players on the bench to take their place. They are going to have more patterns built into their offense in order to compete.

+1. Offensively and defensively, they are pretty screwed up right now at both.

Say what you will about our depleted roster, but that has nothing to do with the mindless idiocy of jacking up three three's on three straight possessions from 27 feet out when you're not a high-percentage three-point shooter, or missing foul shot after foul shot...Both of the above are bad coaching, plain and simple. One of the first things Phil Jackson did when he came back to the Lakers was to make them stop jacking up too many bad threes. It's a pretty basic principle of basketball: if you take lower-percentage shots than your opponent, unless you're the best-shooting team in Div. I, you're going to lose a lot of games.
