Conner Shaw to miss practice.

Well the way he stupidly threw himself around, I'm not surprised.

His arm wasn't doing much anyway but I hope it's nothing too serious.

I hope Shaw is ok too. Tough kid, but he may get killed if they keep rushing him. I doubt he makes it through the season.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I seem to remember the announcers saying that SOS coaches his QBs to slide head first. Did anyone else hear that?

I hope the kid is okay. I became a Conner Shaw fan the other night. (I still want them to lose every game but the kid has heart at least lol)

SS is stuck in a bad spot IMO.

On the one hand, they are a better offense when Shaw is healthy and able to take off and get yards with his legs.

On the other his risk for injury goes up dramatically when he leaves the pocket. (or on designed runs)

USCe needs Shaw to contend IMO, right now he has to be able to run it some to make their offense harder to defend. Im just not sure he can make it thru the whole season with that plan.

Shaw's Dad said he is fine, but I guess we shall see.

You'll see. And why they keep saying he took a helmet is beyond me. He took a solid knee right between the shoulder blades. At least it wasn't to the hip or thigh. Kid can't throw but he sure is mobile.

That's what scares me. We lose him, then we default to giving Lattimore 6473825657473838465647383756564737 carries per game in hopes of success. I fear he maybe done by the time we leave Baton Rouge.

Might as well run him to death while you have him, and let the NFL team that drafts him worry about him being over worked. MSU did that with Javon Ringer. They were running him over 40 times a game.

Shaw is a tough kid and I'd love him to be on my team...as a tight end. He is not going to the NFL as a qb.

I heard that twice during that game. To top it off both Shaw and the back up slid head first several times.
