Sunny, with scattered clouds
Hi: 56
Lo: 38
Precipitation: none

This should get the climate change nutcases worked up. (waiting for the first "weather isn't the same as climate" post from LawGator)

Dude, it's going to be way colder than that.

I'll say it: Weather on a particular day in a particular city has nothing to do with global climate.

That being said, usually January and February are the cooler months but your prediction sounds a little warm to me.

Most of the global climate change data that skews the trends upward takes place in the higher latitudes, where it has been 10 to 15 degrees F warmer on average.*

*I could be off on that, it might be more like 5 to 6. But that is where most of the change is, for sure.

Clear

At least that is close to what it was last year when I was in Knoxville around that time.

And the economy will suck.

And Erik Ainge will be a little over a month away from waxing Matt Ryan's ass in the Super Bowl

And I will be a little over 24 hours away from a very stealth maneuver involving an exit from a bathroom window of some skank's apartment.

I'm at a loss for words to express my appreciation for the high level of moral and intellecutal integrity the posters on this board maintain. :mega_shok:

A study recently published by a group of scientists in the Journal of Geophysical Research has documented that any climate change that has occurred in the past several decades is a result of Mother Nature, not your neighbor's carbon footprint.

"The surge in global temperatures since 1977," says the study's co-author Chris de Freitas, "can be attributed to a 1976 climate shift in the Pacific Ocean that made warming El Nino conditions more likely than they were over the previous 30 years and cooling La Nina conditions less likely."

For history nuts, this fact put to an end the 'we face the next ice age' scare mongering of the enviromentalist movement and, let's face it, their MO in pursuit of their greedy attempt to take over all energy sources and production.

They still pursue the same fascistic end, the names and faces are the only thing to change.

How hard could that be for useful idiots to understand??? :fool:

If we're still on weather, my forecast would be..............

High Temperature - 54
Low Temperature - 40
Sky Conditions - Sunny all day

With a jet stream that is flowing up north, Knoxville has experienced the worst December rainfall deficit in the last 25 years, although McGee-Tyson will have still finished with a 1 inch surplus for the year. Also, the ridge that has built over the eastern United States will keep things warm all week long, with Knoxville experiencing warm temps for that time of year. January 2nd will see a forecast high of 60.

Or, at least that's what I think/hope will happen....
