BOOM!

It won't cost the Vols a scholly, but my son was officially accepted into the University of Tennessee today.

He plans to march for The Pride, and maybe follow the cagers with the pep band.

Most importantly, he's majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I've already told him to check the seats around him, as he's likely to find himself seated next to the starting QB for the Volunteers!

PS. Thanks for the indulgence, just being a proud papa.

Tell your son congrats. I still have my acceptance letter from UT and still remember that feeling.

Congrats to you and especially your son!

I don't want to burst your bubble... but the likelihood of your son and dobbs being in the same class is slim to none. The engineering course schedule is pretty rigid.

Again, congrats!

Not really, man. There would be a much better chance if they were in the same year, but from what I understand it's very possible that they could have a class together during their 4 or most likely 5 years on the Hill.

My younger brother and his roommate are both current students and engineering majors, and his roommate has a class with JD. It's not unheard of.

Congrats! Our Aerospace program is something that sets us apart, particularly the fact that we offer a minor in AE. It is a fantastic program, and I wish both of you the best of luck with it. Graduating in Engineering from UT is one of my proudest accomplishments just as I know it will be for your son!

:good!:

Speaking from my experience...It's possible, but the way the prereq's are aligned makes it improbable.

But thanks for the info
