Just saw where he has been retweeting a lot of people wanting him to come back. He retweeted one that said all I want for Christmas is cordarelle for one more year. I think he is really working on his academics and trying to come back. I didn't want to be "that" guy who started this thread but I thought it was interesting. Thoughts?

Yeah.....Bray or Patterson havent made there annoucment yet.......Only Hunter has..

The Times Free Press and other papers claim they have sources saying he "Decided to enter the NFL draft"...........but they also claimed Gruden is our next head coach.

Maybe CBJ can work some magic and get him back.

His presence is worth it for kickoff returns alone.

Jeez, do you really think that Patterson was the problem last year? Addition by subtraction in removing the best playmaker that we have had in the 2000's?

The Lions are 4-11. Perhaps they can try to trade Calvin Johnson for a 7th round pick. They might be a playoff team.

Assuming that your post wasn't sarcasm...

I think in reality he wants to stay here as long as he can, but the harsh reality is he doesn't care for school. Couple that with millions of dollars, women, and celebrity status.. I mean, is it really that hard of a decision? These guys play ball all of their life to get to the NFL and get paid. I love CP and want him back as bad as anyone else, but I want him to see his dream come true. If he goes to the draft, it does. He could risk coming back for another year, but look what that has done to Matt Barkely's draft status. Would have been a first rounder guaranteed last year. This year he may not sniff the second.

Noone has confirmed about his grades, So until then sthu about him failing.

I know the rumors were his grades sucked, but no one ever said officially what his grades turned out to be, it might not be as bad as we thought. I mean everyone wants to call him "stupid" and so forth, but they have no evidence to do so. Yeah, he might have done bad in a class or two, but those would be easy to make up. I just feel like if he was 100% ready to go to the NFL he would already have declared, I think he wants to find a way back, do not know if it is possible but hopefully.

Not trying to hijack a thread, but this is not true at all. They reported that UT had made an offer to Gruden and he was considering the offer.

As to the premise of the thread, hope he comes back. Doubt he will.
