Holy smokes I just saw this kid play for the first time last night during the MAC Championship game and boy did he jump of the screen. Best WR I've seen in college the last few years. From his smooth route running, incredible acceleration, to unbelievable hands, the kid just reminds me of Jerry Rice.

Yeah I know this is blasphemy but he does own the record for most career receiving yards in college. So in a way he's already the Jerry Rice of college football. Really looking forward to him in the NFL. I believe this guy has a chance to become one of the best receivers we've ever seen at the next level.

Check out his INSANE highlights.

You've seen him play one game, and he's the nation's best receiver by a mile?

Ok.

It doesn't take long to spot a special talent.

And FYI he's the career receiving yards leader in FBS history and projected to be a 1st round draft pick.

This isn't that bold a claim.

I'll take Dede Westbrook or John Ross. And of course Mike Williams and JuJu are pretty good as well.

This also the 100th current college player that you've said will be an all timer in the NFL..

Most loaded draft ever apparently.

Well, if he says everyone will be great, he's bound to get at least 1 right. And we know that's the one he'd focus on, and make excuses as for why the others didn't turn out great.

To be fair, lots of people do this. They just don't make as many threads about it

Guys, just saw Baker Mayfield play. He's very Drew Brees esq with a live arm.

Look for him to challenge Peyton and Brady for GOAT in the NFL.

I agree that he's very good, but Jerry Rice? Jerry Rice isn't just the best wide receiver ever, HE IS THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER TO EVER PLAY THE GAME. He is the epitome of a football player in every way possible.

Deion Sanders would completely shutdown Jerry.

Randy Moss was a better WR than Rice.

If any WR was the best football player ever, i would say it was Moss.

Work ethic?? Rice and its not even close.

D4H, Corey Davis might be the best indeed.

No they were superior athletes. There is a difference.

I love how every time you give an assessment on a player you compare them to a Hall of Famer.

Not always. I've only compared Corey Davis, Myles Garrett, Alvin Kamara, and Ed Oliver to hall of famers.

I compare Most guys to non-HOF players. For example, Derek Barnett reminds me of Michael Bennett (Seahawks) and Charles Johnson (Panthers).

2017 will be one of the best drafts in recent memory. However so far I've only identified 3 Hall of Famers.

Myles Garrett = Bruce Smith
Corey Davis = Jerry Rice
Alvin Kamara = Marshall Faulk

Baker Mayfield is not a good pro prospect. Simply lacks the arm strength.

He's nowhere close to Drew Brees.
