Players/Recruits should play for the UNIVERSITY...not the "coach"!

Anyone that de-committs is NOT/or ever was A VOL!!!!! SCREW THEM!!!!!!!!!
Any player that plays for a "coach"....has ZERO confidence in his ability to make it on his own!!!!

That's about as dumb a post as I've seen in regards to recruits changing committs hehe. I agree the HBC position is not as important as Position Coaches, but high school players have to be coached up to the collegiate level, and prepared for the Pro's. That is their goal, and having a terrible position coach can severely limit your recruiting abilities.

I am a Nole, but I am glad Corey decided to stick with UT, I would of hated to see him miss early enrollment simply to swap schools, and it is alwasy refreshing to see recruits stick to their word and to show love for their school of choice.

When I first heard the rumors about CDD, I was flabergasted, and then I read up on them and I think it is not a bad choice. Apparently several coaches that were interviewed reccommended him, including Will Muschamp, and that is saying a lot. Going by the record they had at LaTech isnt really fair as they do not have the caliber of athletes that UT does. His biggest test early will be gathering a solid coaching staff that can be cohesive and get the job done.

Regardless, I sure hope you guys get passed this and give the Gators the whipping they got coming next year!

Are you a coach? Do you recruit kids to play for your school??

If not.......don't speak of things you know nothing about!!!

I didn't really speak as if I was on expert on recruiting so I am not really sure where that part of your reply comes from.

And where exactly are you a recruiter or coach for? Austin Peay? Wow. You MUST be an expert...I would hate to have my kid play for you with the way you spoke of them in your first post....

I may have spoken without thinking. Coaches do make an impact on kids...no question. BUT....It SHOULD be based on the school and not JUST the coach. A player that commits to UT and then switches to UF/Baylor after Ki**in leaves UT...was never a Vol or a Ki**in fan. If he loved the previous staff that much...he should follow that staff to USC.

Maybe he realized that he only went there for a coach and didn't want to make that mistake again and went back to Baylor.

On this we agree. :good!:
