Here is the latest on one of, if not the top, guard prospects on our board for next year:
-Corperryale Harris has emerged as big-time player in the 2007 class. His shot needs work, but Harris showed an ability to knock down open jumpers with some regularity. Harris remains a gifted defender and a tenacious rebounder.
-Harris paced The Family in pool play at Spiece and in early-round elimination games. In The Family's final two games fatigue took a toll on Harris, who has yet to fill into his rapidly growing frame.
-There is not much to dislike about Harris' play. He plays hard is a leader and he makes those around him better.

Here is a tidbit from Jerry Meyer on Harris:
-Coming off a strong high school season, Corperryale Harris has a shot at a top-50 ranking. The Detroit native might not have the athleticism for the NBA, but he is destined to fill up the stat sheet on the collegiate level.

Allen Iverson is 165 pounds and look what he can do. I know Corperryale Harris is 4 inches taller than Iverson, but if AI can do what he does in the NBA with 165 pounds... I wouldn't say it's out of the question for Harris to do good things in the SEC. I'm not comparing the talent level of AI and CH in any way... I'm just saying it all comes down to whether or not Harris is a ball player... not his size.

Another thing... he'll put on 15-20 pounds in his first couple of years of college. The weight training and the drinking program he'll be on will help out a lot. :toast:

yeah... hvwarrior58 must have weighed him himself to be SO SURE... it's all good though...

fact is... 160 or 170... doesn't matter... if he can ball up like they say... Tennessee will gladly take him!

No, I've not weighed him, but Scout is inaccurate on their numbers alot of the time.

As for CH, he is now ranked 45 in the nation.
