Well maybe its just me,,but i have several friends that agree. For the most part the racing has been horrible since the complete change over to the COT.Seems one car hits the right set up for their driver and no one else has much of a chance. The rest race for second place.Seems to me NASCAR better do something for the this car or you are going to see TV ratings and ticket sales decline in the next few years.Ohh and also man did they mess up Bristol when the did the progessive banking,,IMO anyways.

Not much of a fan of the new car, but I do love the new Bristol. It's great that the cars and drivers are now able to move around the track to make a pass rather than just being stuck behind the car in front of them or just dumping them because there was only half a groove worth driving on.

I enjoyed the race today. There was alot of side by side racing. I've come to terms with the fact that the new car looks like a box with a wing on the back of it. It doesn't matter if it's the new car or the old car most of the time a team or two will hit on something and drive away from the field.

get used to it. the powers that be have been pushing uniformity for years and within a decade, the Sprint Cup will look like IROC (even more than it does now) where the only way to tell the cars apart was by their paint jobs.

The COT and mulit million dollar owners are ruining NASCAR. Its more of a competition of who has the most money. Think about it, how long has it been that someone outside of Roush, Hendrick, Gibbs, etc has won a race? They are few and far between.

Uhhhh, what? Hasn't NASCAR been a largely spec series since the Aero War(?) era?

I hope this new tire they are developing will help things. If not, it seems like alot of NASCAR fans are becoming uninterested. I just dont want NASCAR to become the "IRL" like.

imagine what it'll look like when the domestic manufacturers pull out because it's simply too expensive for them to maintain their financial stake in racing.

I belive thats part of the plan with this all cars the same crap.NASCAR thinks it can care on if the manufactures pull out.

The COT is basically a common template, which NASCAR contemplated going to back earlier in the decade. Now, nobody calls it that but its what it is. Only subtle nose differences and decals are the difference in the cars.
