Could someone explain UGA to me? (merged)

This team looked mediocre for the first 5-6 games...

They lose to what turns out to be a pitiful USCe team...

They get their tails handed to them by us...

Then the following week they barely escape Vandy...

Suddenly they manage to beat Florida then finish out a patsy schedule...

Then they manhandle a team that had no business being on the field with them...seriously I don't know if I've ever seen a "BCS" team less worthy of being on that stage...

UGA's as hot as anyone but who have they beaten?

UF is nowhere near as good as we made them look so who does that leave?

I think UGA got off easy...they didn't have to play for their conference championship and then they beat down the most pathetic "BCS" team I've seen since it started in 1998

What do you all think?

Alot of people wanted to see UGA/USC....I think it would have been a good game with USC winning by 10

if an sec team hasn't "played anybody", then who has?

It'll be interesting to see how UGA does next yr

Uh...UGA didn't win the SECE and USC would treat them worse than they did Illinois.

No, I was not pulling 4 the dawgs last night, but thank you georgia for showing everybody how good these mid major teams are against a real opponent. Yes utah beat a shotty pitt team that one year, and boise st beat an average oklahoma team because they pulled out plays that you cant even get 2 work on playstation, but the fact remains. If and when we go 2 a playoff, a mid major will never make a run like they do in the basketball side.

It wouldn't be worse... But I agree. Georgia doesn't deserve a shot at the title.

We can't say much look what we let Cal, UF, and Bama do to us and then we went to the SECCG...We should have beaten the Badgers has badly has UG beat Hawaii...

Georgia looked outstanding last night, though they conducted themselves in a rather classless manner, I thought. They are a young team and have been improving over the course of the year. I'm sure a number of preseason polls will have the Dawgs as favorites for not just the SEC East, but the whole conference. Hopefull Tennessee will still have Georgia's number next year, but it won't be easy.

I can't stand UGA but they beat Auburn pretty bad. UGA is not as good as they think and I would have to quit my job and move if they played in the NCG.:no:
