Monitor this site and keep all the negative B/S out of it. I believe in being realistic but these recruits or any recruits for that fact pop on here, some 17,18 year kid, and reads pathetic recruiting class, just isn"t right. First , get a life, go to Hell somewhere else and root for another school, PLEASE!

While I don't think I would put it quite the same way, I understand where you're coming from. Some of the posts lately are borderline shots and I hope the new commits never have to read them. See the "media reaction" thread for more evidence.

I didn't mean any posters but the articles/titles are borderline. They are also more accessible to these guys than a message board.

We need to shield them from the outside world until they get to Knoxville. I don't think the Knox media is going to produce anything negative about the program.

Well just get rid of the board or take up nitting as a hobby. If it was all warm and fuzzy in here all the time then wouldn't it be boring.

Heaven forbid someone not toe the party line and take off the orange tinted glasses. did it ever occur to you that these guys have been the subject of media scrutiny for a long time now?

Hell, let them read all the negative crap they can. Then mayble they'll come in here with something to prove. We all know how the Vols like to be the underdog.

tilidie, I think you know that no regular poster on here is saying that any person who committed to UTK yesterday should not wear the Orange. I've said it before, nobody should begrudge anyone for coming to UTK. It is fairly obvious to me that the complaints are not aimed at who we got, but at the coaches for who they did not get. Welcome new Vols! I hope you have the opportunity to break in our next head football coach.

As for the 1st Amendment responses, I recognize that VolFreak owns this board and he can censor it any way he wants but he allows us to express our opinions here, whatever they may be, so long as we are civil. It would not surprise me to learn that he has been pressured to censor this site the same way that the UTK message boards that are attached to the two major recruiting services are censored. Thank-you VolFreak for keeping the free exchange of thought and information open to Vol fans of all stripes!:clap:
