AJ: Thanks for doing this. How big was the gap between LSU and Tennessee/the rest of the top 5?
Kendall Rogers: AJ — I don’t think the gap is that big at all. If anything, the gap between Tennessee and LSU for me is pretty small. Tennessee has the best pitcher in college baseball, a strong rotation and a balanced offensive lineup. LSU has a very strong weekend rotation, one of the better pitchers in Paul Skenes and has a loaded lineup as well. I think the differentiator for me is just having guys like Crews/White/Morgan at the top. I like Tennessee and LSU a step above teams like Ole Miss and A&M. There’s a gap for me there.

I was never a baseball fan (in 60+ years) but last season I got hooked on Vol baseball, listening to the games on the radio while doing some very stressful two-home packing and cleaning out.

This December, even before the bowl game, and with basketball in full swing (pun intended), I've been eagerly wondering when the baseball season would start!
