I will be there too. I hope the race is not too boring after what I've seen this season. You will just need these frequencies to hear the drivers. They charge you like 5 bucks at the track for a piece of paper with these codes on them so print this off and take it with you. Make sure you have headphones that cover your ears completely or you won't be able to hear it.

You can rent the ones they have there with the screens for $50 a day. You have to have a credit card so that assures you wouldnt keep it. Worth every dollar. For $10 more dollars you can get another set of headphones.

Also MRN broadcast the race over 454.000 i believe. I would double check all these frequencies but Jayski has the best NASCAR info so it should be right. Sometimes they have alternate channels so you might want to do a google search for more scanner code info. It's a good idea to go ahead and program these codes into your scanner before the race so that you don't spend half the race trying to dail in a channel. I like to program MRN in also so that i can listen to the race between listening to drivers.

I have never rented the fan view device with a screen on it. I would love to do that but I hate to pay 50 bucks.

Depending on your scanner, most of the trailers can program the frequencies in there for you at a cost of about 10 bucks. Or, like suggested, you can buy the sheet for 5.

I reccomed the radio broadcast b/c they do a better job of describing the action than listening to the TV broadcast.
