This movie should be required viewing for every father and father-to-be. The acting leaves some to be desired, but the message and the statistics are quite poignant.

I, for one, will never be the same after watching.

I was told to watch it. Heard everyone loves it.

You were also told to leave. Everybody wants you to.

What's your point? That you didn't leave so people shouldn't watch the movie?

My wife made me watch Fireproof with her. She liked it, I didn't. The acting was horrible and it was way too preachy.

I recently watched Fireproof with my wife. I was smart enough to make a deal before watching it. I would only agree to watch it if I could make all the jokes I wanted without ticking her off. The wife in that movie was like Tracy Gold/Allison Hannigan-bad.

As for Courageous, I've got the book and it's next on my list, after I finish "A Lucky Child." I've heard it's a great story, but the acting is the same as Fireproof. This made it a no-brainer for me. I'll just read it.

Courageous really made an impact on me. Every man needs to see that movie.

Should I also watch This Boys Life just to balance things out?
