Measured 2 inches shorter than listed, and is only 6'1 really.

Then they found out he has a foot fracture that requires surgery, including screws, so he'll miss at least ten weeks and can't work out before the draft.

Damn. The foot thing is going to hurt him more than the height. I don't get why these guys lie about how tall they are - or how it isn't recorded more officially with the school. Feel free to educate me on that. Crabtree will be good in the NFL, he should go ahead and get the surgery ASAP.

He's still planning on running in the 40 at TT's Pro Day from what I've read. Must be putting off the surgery 'til after.

Apparently it won't slow him down. One of those deals he's probably been playing with for awhile and didn't even realize it. Several coaches have said it won't hurt his draft stock, but that's BS.

I hate the combine so much. It's basically worthless.

But, USC's kicker is a workout warrior. Dude put up 25 reps, more than 27 offensive linemen, including Oher and Monroe, and then ran a freaking 4.55 forty.

Wont hurt crabtree's stock too much, not after what the college and pro media has already done to his rep

I'm pretty sure NFL scouts don't consider a players rep in the media when deciding where to put them on their board.

McGahee blew his knee out and was still drafted in the first round. It is impossible for anyone to figure out what these GMs, scouts, and coaches are thinking most of the time. How Kiper Jr. has stayed employed for this long is beyond me.
