Crash survivor will not be deported

My understanding of Mitt's stance is not on massive deportation but instead on making conditions difficult (e.g. cracking down on employers) so that illegal immigrants would choose to leave. He caught flak for calling it voluntary deportation.

That to me sounds like the characteristic Mitt trying to find the happy medium to placate the "kick 'em all out" crowd and the "welcome to America brother" crowd. I really don't see him doing much other than making verbal gestures to employers. He can always give them the free pass called "I'm running for office for Pete's sake!" I hear that excuse works well.
