Not really. However, the leagues do continue to raise the compensation scale. It's certainly not a bad gig.

That would be the one factor that would lead me to consider actually pursuing it. There was a stretch last year where I was in nine cities in 10 days. It's the best I've felt in years.

Not a lot of meaningful information in that opinion, and it ignores the most important point: the NBA is severly penalizing an official for letting a personal agenda infringe upon the fairness of the game. At least I hope that is what they are doing.
