its just another jab by ESPN and it bothers me...they gave him consideration after the Florida game...this weeks performance doesn't surpass that?!

I just want people to talk out of one side of their mouth

well, i wouldn't really worry about it too much. TN is a novice in this bball excitement thing...and there are too many other stories out there that appeal to a broader audience. Yeah, TN is a good story, but it's only good as long as they keep winning. they start losing, and we're right back where we came from, at least from a media standpoint.

People would rather debate whether or not JJ Reddick is more hated that Laetner at Duke, or whether or not Morrison should get a hair cut etc....they'd rather talk about the Big East who apparently has everyone getting in the tourney.

It's just not that big of a deal, and we've gotten 100% more pub this year on ESPN and any other sports show than we ever got the past 4-5 seasons put together.

Enjoy the season, don't worry about what other people are or are not saying about us.

Cause once we lose, you'll hear about it....

the penner and mack show here in CLT is talking about BP right now as who should win National Coach of the year....trust me, they're making some noise....and the guest on the show is Pat Forde from ESPN who also said BP is the frontrunner right now....

I am not talking about CBP or the team in general...I think Lofton deserves props for his performance. I agree that WE AS A TEAM are getting more publicity...but credit should be given when it is due and two career nights in one week deserves mention...

i hear what your saying...but Jay Bilas last week, on Wed i think, put CL in his top 5 shooters in the country...along w/morrison and reddick....

he's getting the pub, but he's not going to get that kind of pub....

Hard for me to believe Bilass said that, but I'll take your word for it...just wish more people would recognize...maybe after March

Not to change the subject, but I did notice that Tennessee had THREE, count 'em, THREE clips in the "Ultimate Highlight" on last night's Sportscenter.

I do agree, though, that Lofton has got to be in the hot list after last week -- come on, 9 of 12 from la-la land in a game???

Maybe he should grow a stupid-looking mustache.
