Not only do we seem much better conditioned than most our opponents, the lack of serious injuries and ACL's is also very impressive.

"A rash of devastating injuries have left Georgia and Florida looking like shells of their former selves. South Carolina might have absorbed a similar blow on Saturday when quarterback Connor Shaw left with a sprained right knee in the fourth quarter of the Tennessee loss." per ESPN

All those teams have something in common. Most of those key injuries happened when playing Tennessee. Probably has something to do with what you're talking about?

Butch has been mentioning being physically tough and mentally tough every clip I hear, it's paying off credit to the staff

I think it should also be noted that CBJ makes guys play hurt. Neal has been all banged up and CBJ refuses to take him out of the game. I'm not saying he's making them play with a broke leg or anything, but he's trying to instill some mental toughness here because we have little depth. We are a blue collar football team right now. We aren't very fun to watch on offense, and on defense we strap up and bring 110% effort. Our special teams is one of the best in the country, and they too impose blue collar football. We bring it every play as hard as we can, and even though our wins aren't always pretty right now, we at least are winning.

Our team looks like there in real good shape especially compared to SC their defense had their hands on their hips all day

So far this year, ive seen a MUCH better conditioned UT football team than what we have had in recent memory. Last year, we would have folded not only against sc and ga but also against usa.

I had a thread about this during the GA game. It does seem like we are more durable.
