Tennessee head basketball coach Bruce Pearl has capture the hearts of Vol fans everywhere. Pearl's 22 regular season wins and a second seed in the NCAA tournament helped the Vol nation through the winter of discontent, but Pearl also has fans excited for the future thanks to a heralded recruiting class highlighted by Duke Crews. Earlier this summer WBIR's Josh Roe spent the day with Crews and gives Vol fans a better idea of what Crews is all about.

Talked to my neighbor who teaches at Bethel and he says we got a good guy. UT also seem to be becoming a popular team around this area. This is a good thing since there are many good athletes coming out of here every year.

With JTIII at G'Town, it will be tough to establish a stronghold in the Tidewater area. All the Hoyas have to do is point to favorite sons Mourning and Iverson and they are ahead of the process.

True but he did say he's seen more orange around lately. AI came from the same school too.

i'm not sure i want to see a video of Duke's package that might be groose. Ok now that i got that 6th grader joke out of the way I think he will be a great player here. From what i hear he plays alot like Florida's Noah. The only real concern on him is that he is very skinny and needs to get bulked up which i'm sure we can do.

Everyone forgets what a great high school football player Iverson was.

Noah isn't exactly a world renowned body builder himself.

Looking at that video, I think his weight is perfect for what he will be expected to do. As he matures, his weight will increase with his skill level. I'm pumped, lets get started!!!

We talked about that too. He said it was basically Iversons offense. He would tuck and run after one look upfield. However Iverson was pretty good at running. I think he had the Helton awakening, I'm pretty good at football but it's not where I'm going to make my $$.

Very skinny? I have seen Duke in a basketball uniform in person on more than one occassion and that description is not accurate. He has a solid build and is very strong. He has an SEC ready body right now.

I have heard the Thomas comparisons as well - I think mostly due to the comparable height & their shot-blocking. I can't wait 'til basketball season. I hope Ramar is gonna be eligible as well. GO VOLS!!
