I actually ATTENDED the "Midnight Yell" in College Station back in 2016...yes...yes this is REAL.

AND...they will be holding it somewhere in Knoxville on Friday night...

EDIT:

HERE ya go..in case you'd like to attend...

They really do this. Their entire game theatrics are 100% rehearsed/choreographed at "Yell Practice".

A common joke from Longhorn fans is "How do you tell if an Aggie fan has a sheep for a girlfriend? They stand for the entirety of the football game."

As the others have said, unfortunately it is real. See way too much Aggie garbage down here in the belly of the beast.

Neighbors daughter is a freshman there this fall. She had to go to a separate orientation strictly for the yells and chants.

I'm all for school spirit and all that, but there's a fine line-and A&M is usually well on the other side of said line.

Looks like they do it at their stadium when it's a home game. What do they do when they're on the road? Find some random spot on the visitor's campus to yell? Very strange. Can someone make sure they're not yelling on our campus anywhere or at the stadium?

Yes, they do this for road games as well. I saw something (maybe in one of the other threads on VN) that said they would be doing it at the Knoxville Coliseum this week.
