What do these guys have in common? They are some of the greatest Vols of all time. Seriously. Why you ask? Because they continued (or continue) to bust there arses for the Vols even though they hear a constant stream of attacks on their ability, their heart, their character and their mental capabilities. Yet, everyday, while there critics are watchinf Oprah or Springer, they go to practice, class, or the gym to better themselves for a chance to help their team (which by the way is OUR team if you guys haven't forgot).
So go ahead and start another "Why does Stephen even waste our oxygen" or "JP is worthless" type thread. Keep stating you wish BJ was still here or that you wish Arian had goen pro early. Just remember, UT is a top tier athletic program, which means everyone of our players could have gone at least one other place, but they CHOSE UT. Also, those other places probably need fans like you, so don't let the door hit on your way.

Let me temper that with this. I too get frustrated at the players, but they are our players. I would rather defend our players against other fans then our own. If you really think someone suck, then support them and in a not so public way hope we get a better player in the future. Is Pearl Athletic? Relatively for SEC ball, no. But dang he tries, and you no he tries for his dad, his teamates and for us. Does Prince do some dumb things? Yep, but they are directly related to his all out, loose, emotional style that gets him those steasl that are crucial to us and all those junk rebounds. Does Hopson look like he is too relaxed? Maybe, but that is his personality and is what will allow him to hit the big shot when it is all on the line because he stay calm. Does Chism shoot too many 3s? Sometimes, but is what makes him able to create some space down low for others, as he is not a true 5, but must play it often.
I just would hate for these guys to ever look back and think of their time as a Vol as a bad time. And so would we in my opinion, once the heat of the moment(during the season, post game...) has passed. RANTS over.....for now.

This is exactly why Crompton is one of my favorite Tennessee players. Not sure if I'd extend it to J.P. Prince...

I'll tell you one thing: this thread is a real slap-in-the-face to the "greatest Vols of all time."

JP Prince doesnt bust anything he cant make a foul shot...Practice. and this kills me the most its called a jump shot he never jumps thats why his shots are flat. He is the first to say who me when he fouls a three point shooter.

If Stevie Pearl were cloned 5 times and those 5 were to put in all their effort and start and play all 40 minutes for the Vols, WE'D LOSE TO A HS GIRLS TEAM with 5 PYGMIES AS THEIR STARTERS!

Please add R. Woolridge to this list, he is shooting 12 percent 3/25 from the field the past 7 games.
