Merge if needed, but I didn't see anything talking about how loud it was in there?

So for the everyone that was there.. was it nuts?
Was it louder than the Florida game?
Louder than Ole Miss last year?

I was outside with a small TV & a generator next to it, so I couldn't really tell how loud the stadium was.

How'd the orange out look inside?
It looked like there wasn't that many Alabama fans there to mess it up

The crowd was nuts and unbelievable, but I can't say it was any louder than the Florida game except for the ending. When that knuckle ball creeped over the crossbar, Neyland exploded.............Also, Bama didn't have near the fans in the stadium compared to the last 3-4 trips to Knoxville.

Mentioned this earlier…there was a reddish hue visible on TV to Neyland Stadium last night. Wish someone would review that and correct the shade of orange visible on TV.

My area of stadium was much louder than Florida.

The decidable level broke the record of 116 for a spit second. I don’t know the number at the end of the game as some thought he missed the field goal.
It was so loud that I could not decipher what people around me were saying even when it was quiet. I heard voices but couldn’t process if he’s read being said. It was a bit weird but finally I got back to normal. Lol. It was louder than FL imo

Loudest I've ever heard. Includes Florida '98, Oklahoma and this years Florida game.

(I think if I was a recruit watching this game, it's a no brainer which fan base I want to be associated with. Now, don't take that the wrong way, just because I said "no brainer", I wasn't referring to Bama in any form or fashion.

I believe the official number in game at one point was 124 decibals. New record by almost 6 decibals.

I noticed the same thing. I think there are probably a ton of variables (color profile of each screen with which viewers watch the game, probably production/camera settings of the broadcasters, and others my non-A/V-oriented mind is drawing a blank on at the moment. That said, it would be fantastic if there is a fix!

I want to believe that...but 124 would be absolutely insane. Seattle got to 135 I think, and that's with a stadium designed to put the noise to field level.

Jumbotron actually showed 125 decibals at one point...but 124 is what was reported i believe.

I was at both games and in the same seats.

I couldn't tell which game was louder but the noise definitely impacted the gumps more. Especially by the visitors tunnel.

Less gumps than last few years and their red didn't impact the orange at all.

Something that I have seen posted but check out this picture. The gumps band got stuck in the stands and got to watch most of the celebration.

We had to walk a friend back over to the AG Campus right after kickoff, and when we scored the first touchdown, we could hear the fans from there…

Serves them right for a halftime show where they literally stood in place the whole time.

It was incredibly rude for the Bama band to play their halftime show toward the visitor's side. Million dollars, yeah right. More like a 3 dollar bill.
