Called Comcast and they said the channel had been canceled. Is this true? Is CSS out everywhere?

Yes, I don't know full details like some, but basically the new SEC network that is coming has cause Comcast to drop CSS. CSS showed a lot of SEC games which was no longer going to happen since the new network would carry those games.

They had a show on the night before the plug was pulled that they were showing 10 years of "highlight" of CSS but I was not aware that CSS was going off the air for good. I can say for sure I want miss that Georgia & Alabama homey football crew that was always "talking football" with yellow teeth Bob.

I didn't think Comcast has agreed to carry the SEC network yet?

Correct, sorry, probably didnt word everything right. Content available would not be anything anyone would be interested in. The SEC Network would be showing all the games CSS used to carry and the SEC is going to have its own sports shows. So CSS was dropped as a channel because of the lack of content and inevitable low ratings I assume.

Look for the SEC network to show up in the former CSS channel location. It's just a matter of time.
Probably not. CSS was in the basic cable package. Betting if they get the SEC network it will be in the sports tier you have to pay extra for with the NBA, NFL, ESPNU etc. networks.
