Welp.

One of the several things I've been dealing with during my sabbatical is 12 people at my church came down with the Covid after the stupid decision to invite a group of youth Bible School students (14 in all) visit us in the beginning of this month and preach and sing for us. Blah blah blah.

Preacher just called me. He's got it and he's in pretty bad shape. I was just over at his house Monday.

I'll be fine, but thanks. I don't worry about getting this mess, it's the quarantine crap that is beginning to really chap my butt. I'm not sure what I really think.

Anyway, I'm just talking, not looking for sympathy, this ain't no worse than what any of you are dealing with.

Technically I'm now suppose to lock myself in the house immediately, like now, for the next 7-10 days. Again.

Decided to make myself feel better and went internet olive oil shopping. Trusted information has said Chilean olive oil is some of the highest quality trusted oil that can be bought now days. Found one that checks all the boxes. 2020 harvest and very low acidity mainly and I like the flavor description. "This Italian variety has an intense and balanced spiciness with notes of freshly cut grass, arugula, envy, and chicory." Sold.

There's a video called "An Interview with God", actually I think there are several and even a movie with the title. But there's one I saw about 20 years ago and I'm reminded of it right now.

God was asked what surprises him most about humankind. One of the answers was that "they lose their health to make money, then lose their money to restore their health".

I just spent $70 on vitamins and olive oil, both for health purposes.

Dad just called to tell me that his bud we were visiting this past Sunday, has been diagnosed with the COVID. He was very conjested when we visited. Today, he says he feels fine and never lost his smell or taste.

It's been 4 days and neither of us have any symptoms (yet).
