Well I wasn't gonna give you a hard if you were going on as usual, I was just seeing how y'all are handling it. Was hoping you were more irresponsible so maybe I'd justify saying screw it, nobody else is being cautious.Nope. Have a testing appointment in the am and will stay home until the results come back.
I’ve been running all over the countryside going into all kinds of stores and residences and industrial facilities, haven’t got Covid (thank you Jesus) and I can Ill afford to contract it with my medical issues.Well I wasn't gonna give you a hard if you were going on as usual, I was just seeing how y'all are handling it. That's not what I'm talking about though. If you're working close to someone and often around them closer than 6ft and find out they test positive what do you do? I'm not personally concerned about getting it, I'm concerned about having to be in quarantine just because I came in close contact with someone who is positive.I’ve been running all over the countryside going into all kinds of stores and residences and industrial facilities, haven’t got Covid (thank you Jesus) and I can Ill afford to contract it with my medical issues.
If I had been notified that I’d been exposed to someone who tested positive, I would absolutely hunker down for a week or ten days or whatever. I couldn’t live with myself if I knew that I had infected someone just because I was restless. Imagine breaking your leg and being stuck at home for a week. We would survive. That's not what I'm talking about though. If you're working close to someone and often around them closer than 6ft and find out they test positive what do you do? Ain't nobody got time for that. There are a lot of things I can't do for the next 7 days because of this.
Been thinking about your querstion. If I had been exposed to somebody that tested positive the first thing I would do is find out how long the incubation period is in order for it to be detectable by a Covid test. If say for instance it takes four days to be detectable and it was a week since I was exposed to the positive person I would then request a Covid test right away. If I tested negative at that time I would carry on with my life as usual. If I tested positive I would call a doctor and go through the protocol. I have had four or five tests because of all the medical crap I go through and the results have always come back within a day. That's not what I'm talking about though. So, all y'all that have been close to and exposed to someone that has tested positive just keep on with your normal routine?
Monday my pastor rode in the front seat of my truck to go eat lunch. We sat across from each other at the table. We sat across the table from each other Wednesday night counting the offering. He tested Positive yesterday morning.No. My daughter had it in November. We stayed home for 10 days with her stuck in her room throughout. My wife went to the grocery being the only exception. No one else got it thankfully.

What do I do?
That was my question. Obviously I know the answer and I'm handling it.
Glad you and your family made it through.
My biggest fears for myself is, being quarantined out of caution and getting it and ruining my taste and smell. I ain't skirt of dying from it.
Yuck. Glad she is betterHunker down. My daughter sat across a table at a restaurant from a boy on Sat night. He got symptoms and testing Sunday. Notified her he was positive on Monday.
We scheduled her for a mail in test on Thursday that week. Wednesday she had symptoms. Test was positive. So I guess “we” did 2 things in that 2 week period, grocery and her test.
This was Thanksgiving time frame. She got her taste and smell back a couple of weeks ago.
Ive seen stories of people not getting taste, smell or both back period. Don't know if that's fake news or not, but that scares the crap outta me brother.Hunker down. it is suck a random virus and it has taken way too manyIve seen stories of people not getting taste, smell or both back period. Don't know if that's fake news or not, but that scares the crap outta me brother.
Now that I've spoken selfishly, I mean no disrespect to anyone that has lost anything or anyone due to this virus. I have.
It's so random, as far as what it does to who. When my wife called that night in the hospital (she was in for sepsis) and said she had it, I was sure she would die because of her health, but barely had a cough. A preacher friend of mine lost his son, 30-31 years old, and he was just diabetic. I know a few who say they still have taste issues, and some that never did. So glad to hear Tiffany didn't suffer from it, I've worried about that. It's so random, as far as what it does to who. Did you see my post?So glad to hear Tiffany didn't suffer from it, I've worried about that.
I know what you mean and I don't want it. I ain't skurt, but I am if that makes sense. And I definitely don't want to carry it unknowingly and spread it. I try to be responsible and unfortunately enjoy telling the naysayers to kiss my buttocks, not on ze right, not on ze left but right in ze mittle.
This. I still mask, sanitize, use extra towels at work to open doors...all things that I never did. The only thing we have stopped doing is wiping down groceries when we get home. I'm not scared but I am.So glad to hear Tiffany didn't suffer from it, I've worried about that.
