Probably told it before, but when we built the new Snug Harbor with the upstairs being like a "nightclub" with a stage and lights etc for live bands, I tried doing pizza up there late night. It was a disaster, but the best selling pizza was the cheeseburger pizza. Wasn't even close.

I would order that.
 
I souced the idea from a late night joint on the beach that used frozen "doctored up" pizzas. Was easy to improve upon, which was ultimately the reason it was a disaster.
 
I’d imagine that pretty much all Americanized pizza is an insult to Italians. Italian pizza is incredible and very different from even traditional pies over here. But like @Behr said, if it tastes good, eat it. And like @malinoisvol said, Canadian bacon and pineapple on a pizza is bombdiggity.
In Lutzenhausen, Germany there was an Italian restaurant owned and worked by an Italian family. That was the best pizza and lasagna on earth.
