I here Cumberland ave is a mess right now. Went from 4 lanes to 2. Can anyone confirm?

Supposedly 2 lanes the future plan. Seems like they'll be putting a huge nice median down the middle with turning spots all along. They want it to feel more like a community or something.

As far as I know, it's only 2-lanes from the train bridge to Stefanos right now.

Yep. This is all being pushed by a big city guy that owns a couple properties on the strip. Big ideas and zero common sense.

Thanks guys, i guess next sat will be a test..I get their early enough for it not to matter, but leaving on the other hand may be a nightmare...

If you plan ahead of time to take a different route out of the area (17th Street, Neyland Drive, East on Cumberland and up to 40 on Henley Street), then you should be fine. Since it's the first Knoxville game, people won't immediately remember how bad it is at that corner of Campus, so some might still go that direction.
