Cunningham Blasts Obama

Its the same thing he does every day on his show, thats why they got him to come on and jack the crowd up, which he did, they were sky high when he walked off stage. McCain doesn't even know the guy, and he rebukes him. What did he say that wasn't true? Cunningham was PO'd when he heard McCain's comments.

I caught a little of Rush on the way to work and I heard about the story and I knew at once it was Billy boy.

He did nothing wrong..... all a bunch of crap over nothing!

Agreed, but McCain should have gone with it, instead of bowing down to political correctness.

I think McCain did the right thing - it's his only chance for the general election.

I am going to respectfully disagree with you on this, I really think he has to get Obama talking about issues, and ideas. He needs to look the part of a leader, and communicate those ideas and issues. The one thing you can say about Obama is he can communicate. McCain needs to talk about specifics. Obama has been very broad on issues, pin him down. One of Cunninghams little catch phrases on Obama is "peel away the bark", I think he's dead on, McCain is going to have to do that one way or the other, or he's going to get his teeth kicked in.

McCain's desire to keep the rhetoric above board will assure his loss in November. The hit piece in the New York Times was only the beginning. It's not going to come directly from the Dem nominee, but it will be financed by George Soros and his ilk.

I like Cunningham, but I think his constant use of Barack's middle name only serves to make him seem on the fringe.

I'm referring to distancing himself (McCain) from comments such as constant use of "Hussein" and attacking Albright's looks.

Issues are one thing - Cunningham's schtick of using "Hussein" is okay for radio but not what a candidate should be endorsing.

My only point is that he was harsher on Cunningham than he was on the Times... I guess that sums up my problems with McCain right there.

All I can say is that it would be pretty embarrassing to be associated professionally with a guy who feels the need to repeatedly say Barak Hussein Obama every time he mentions Barak Obama. I would be pretty miffed too if someone pulled that when introducing me if I were McCain. It makes you look like you enjoy surrounding yourself with wacko bigots. Say what you want - but there is only one real reason you would repeatedly say his middle name over and over like that. I doubt that Cunningham is a bigot (maybe he is...I don't know). But, he seems to be at the least playing up to the idea of bigotry ... or fear mongering...and neither is very attractive attributes I would want associated with me during a presidential run.
