Glad to see Cuonzo pick up on Coach Pearl's tradition of beating FU. The only thing missing was the traditional storming of the court - the thing that gets Jeremy Foley's panties all in a twist, unless of course it's Rutgers fans storming the court after beating the crap out of his reptile dysfunction.

Billy is apparently always going to be haunted when it comes to Knoxville. It doesn't matter who the coach is.

Yeah, it is something like that...and three of those wins came last year. The first one Pearl was not on the bench. Even with the NC teams, going into last year, Billy was like 2-8 against Tennessee or something like that...(not exact)

Well 05-06 was Pearl's first year, UT was 2-0, 06-07 1-1 with each winning on their own court, 07-08 2-0 UT, 08-09 2-0 UT, 09-10 1-1, 10-11 0-3 UF, 11-12 1-0 UT so far. So yeah ever since Pearl's first year we're 9-5 vs UF.

Yep, throw out last year, which don't count because of the temp coaching deal, then we are 9-2 against the gators.

I enjoy OWNING them gator boyz.

Nothing at all. Quality win no matter where we done it at. Just saying, Tennessee has as many road wins as Florida does.

Thats silly one game does not mean that CM owns BD. I read in the paper today a quote by CM that he decided to stop Fla's 3 pointers. That is great. A coach that believes in defending the perimeter. One of my biggest gripes against Buzz ball and to a lesser extent Pearl ball was a lack of defense on the perimeter. If Buzz had defended the 3 he might still be the coach at UT it is amazing how many games were lost on last second 3 pointers during his reign. Good coaching job Martin.
