Wish they would have shown more, lol. Still pretty cool that it came directly from his Twitter account.

Wait you mean he's not still sitting on the bench that many claim he stays planted to?

All seriousness, there's a reason his players love him and will do anything for him.

I like how he's been more aggressive lately. We need that kind of attitude from him. Maybe CBJ is rubbing off on him lol

I've been hyper critical of Martin this season.
Part of my criticism has been his laid back approach to the game.
Martin possesses one natural instinct that many coaches never get. He knows how to get his teams to peak at the right time.
Something else he has shown in his development is that he's learning the importance of carrying intensity to the road.
With that and other progressions this season we may be watching a young mediocre blossoming into a good future coach.

Nice. I haven't seen postgame celebrations like that since Bruce.

If we make the NCAAs and especially if we win a game there, CCM will be viewed as a coach whose teams peak at the right time. If we miss the field, he will be viewed as a coach whose teams don't start playing until it's too late.

They have definitely found some chemistry that works! That's one reason we were able to prevail at A&M. Everyone knew everyone's role and stepped up! There is no "I" in this T-E-A-M Gotta Love it!

too small a sample size if we are just considering his stint at UT

If he doesn't make the tourney, one might say Martin possesses the ability to coach up his kids too late for it to matter.

There is a longtime radio guy here in Memphis who has said multiple times that a sign of a good coach is when a team constantly improves from the beginning of the season until the end. He mentions both Memphis and Tennessee as examples. I think it shows some level of good coaching. I believe next year the team will have a much better chance at winning big early games.
