Cup practice at Dega - #24 a NO SHOW

Hmmm? The Dupont Chevy and one other car were a "NO SHOW" for the 1st practice. There are to be 51 cars for quals on Saturday. Jeff is the last to run-maybe he'll pull it off being the last car to run!

Did they have problems going through tech? That's weird since they haven't even qualified yet.

No, I watched both practices yesterday. He was in the first one but decided to sit out Happy Hour. They said the car was good and they were worried about something happening to the car. The #11 car also sat out. He was penalized for hard drafting and was to sit out for 15 min in the second practice. They decided to sit out the whole thing anyway.
